Our Team

Jonathan C. Buckland is the Founding Partner of Buckland & Dang, P.A., and practices in the areas of property insurance claims, bad faith disputes, family law, domestic violence, juvenile dependency, employment discrimination, and general civil litigation. Mr. Buckland began his trial practice as a child advocate and special public defender. Later, as an insurance defense attorney, he lectured at several windstorm conferences, represented numerous Florida registered insurance companies, and served as a primary consultant in revising the claims handling guidelines for one of Florida’s largest underwriters of property and casualty insurance. Currently, his practice is focused upon the representation of insurance policyholders.

As Managing Partner, Cassidy Dang Buckland is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the firm. Mrs. Buckland practices in both state and federal courts in the areas of complex and commercial litigation, nursing home and premises liability, products liability, professional liability, automobile liability, medical and healthcare malpractice, catastrophic and personal injury, wrongful death, intentional torts, first and third-party property insurance claims, bad faith claims, foreclosure defense, loan modifications, family law, and criminal defense.

Tarella B. Okoinyan is a Firm Administrator and Legal Assistant at Buckland & Dang, P.A. Mr. Okoinyan earned his Associates in Arts degree from Miami-Dade College, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Mass Communication at Florida International University.
