Jonathan C. Buckland is the Founding Partner of Buckland & Dang, P.A., and practices in the areas of property insurance claims, bad faith disputes, family law, domestic violence, juvenile dependency, employment discrimination, and general civil litigation. Mr. Buckland began his trial practice as a child advocate and special public defender. Later, as an insurance defense attorney, he lectured at several windstorm conferences, represented numerous Florida registered insurance companies, and served as a primary consultant in revising the claims handling guidelines for one of Florida’s largest underwriters of property and casualty insurance. Currently, his practice is focused upon the representation of insurance policyholders.
Mr. Buckland earned his degrees in Business and English Literature from Florida State University. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in all of the state courts of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
